CREAMY PASTA WITH ASPARAGUS AND BACON

Ingredients:

8 slices of chopped bacon

8 oz. Baby-Bella mushrooms, sliced

4 cups of low-sodium chicken broth

3 cups of milk, divided into 2 cups and 1 cup

12 oz. Farfalle (Bowtie) pasta

1 lb. of asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

Salt and pepper to taste

4 oz. of softened cream cheese

2 Tbsp. of all-purpose flour

½ cup of shredded or freshly grated Parmesan cheese
