Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with oil or baking spray and set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the hot water, milk, butter, sugar, and salt. Heat for one minute and stir until everything is melted. Transfer this mixture to a stand mixer.
Add about 3½ cups of flour and the yeast to the bowl, mixing at medium speed with a paddle attachment. Add more flour if necessary until the dough is soft but slightly sticky.
Switch to the dough hook and mix for 6-8 minutes. If mixing by hand, knead the dough on a floured surface for about 6-8 minutes.
Divide the dough into 15 pieces and shape them into balls. A kitchen scale can help with accurate measurements.
Place the dough balls in the greased baking pan.
Cover the pan with a clean cloth and let it sit in a warm spot for around 20 minutes or until the rolls have doubled in size.
Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Remove the rolls from the oven and immediately brush them with melted butter.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Enjoy your warm, fluffy dinner rolls!
