My mama used to make these growing up. I finally found a recipe and boy do these taste even better than I remember. Can’t wait to gift them this year

Instructions:

Heat sugar, peanut butter, and corn syrup in a large saucepan until boiling, stirring constantly.
In a large bowl, place the cereal and pour the boiled mixture over it, mixing well.
Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 baking pan.
Melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips in a small pot over low heat, stirring often.
Pour and evenly spread the melted mixture over the cereal base in the pan.
Let the Scotcheroos cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes until the topping firms up.
Once set, cut them into squares or bars and serve. Scotcheroos are an excellent choice for satisfying sweet cravings or impressing guests with their unique flavor combination. Enjoy these tempting treats with ice cream, whipped cream, or by themselves for a crowd-pleasing dessert that’s sure to be a new favorite.
