Spicy Pickled Garlic

In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve completely.
Add the garlic cloves to the saucepan and return to a boil. Remove from heat immediately.
Add crushed red pepper flakes, black peppercorns, mustard seeds, and dried chili peppers to the garlic mixture.
Transfer the garlic and spices into sterilized jars, pouring the hot vinegar mixture over them to cover completely.
Seal the jars tightly and let them cool to room temperature.
Store the jars in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks to allow the flavors to develop fully before consuming.
